What Is an Apostille?
An apostille is an official government certification that authenticates the origin of a public document so it can be recognized in another country. It is required when you need to use a U.S. document — such as a birth certificate, marriage certificate, power of attorney, or corporate document — in a foreign country that is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. Even if the country is not a member of the Hague Convention it can still be authenticated the same way.
Arizona apostilles are issued by the Arizona Secretary of State's office and must be documents issued/notarized in Arizona. Before a document can be apostilled, it typically must first be notarized by a commissioned Arizona notary public. That's where we come in. Even if you have a birth certificate that doesn't get notarized, we can still courier the document to be authenticated and returned to you.
